My husband is not a happy man. He's taking Lasix and Monopril and has gained 6 lbs without enjoying himself - meaning he's not eating more or eating poorly. He's just gaining and we don't understand why as weight gain is not a side effect so we searched on line. Has this happened to anyone else? He's totally unhappy. Dr gave him a prescription for Diovan instead. The next question will be in another post. Thanks for any info you can share. By the way, the Lasix is not causing more urination - go figure?
