When I went on Methotrexate I will admit I was a little concerned about the possible side effects. I was also put on 15 mg every Sunday night along with the Predisone. I was on it for 3 months and didn't realize how much better I began to feel until I had to be taken off of it because I ended up in the hospital with my immune system compromised and a severe kidney infection and E-coli infection. I was eventually taken off the methotrexate and I am really hurting a lot. My rheumatologist has only put me on Mobic now and it isn't helping and I told him I can't believe how much better my joints felt on the Methotrexate. Give it some time and I hope it will work for you.
