I'm currently on Mircette (brand name of Kariva) and love it, except for one thing. I get a lot of break through bleeding, which needless to say is very annoying. I know that Mircette is a very "low-dose" pill and I heard that a lot of BTB could you mean you need something "stronger" (more estrogen I guess??) Is that true?

Years ago I was on Ortho-Tricyclen but it made me gain a TON of weight and act kinda crazy. I also tried Yasmin but it also made me gain weight, which I won't tolerate. Mircette is great for me in every way except the BTB, so I'm nervous about trying other pills. Does anyone have a reccomendation of another lower-dose pill that might be similliar to Mircette? Is Alesse similiar?
