Has anyone gotten hives from birth control? I was on Ortho TriCyclen for 4 and half months and the last month I started to get hives (welts) and my legs, arms, face, etc. They would disappear by morning and return in the late afternoon/evening. My doctor thinks the birth control's dyes or coding maybe causing it. I took a RAST test and that showed that I was not allergic to environment factors but I do have an allergy of some sort. So, I switched to another brand of birth control (Mircette). I was curious if anyone had or knew of someone with the same problem?
