The betas I have are metoprolol. I have only resorted to taking one twice. Will only do so if my heart rate and BP spike for a few hours with no signs of coming down. Just for my safety. I do not know when the taper will end. If I feel good on the small doses, once I get to to like 8 mgs and below, I will keep going real slow. If not, I will speed it up and get off. Should be off in Sept at the earliest, Dec at the latest.
