Beta-blockers can indeed cause a little bit of bronchoconstriction. There are some that are better than others. Metoprolol is probably the worst offender, newer more selective drugs have fewer symptoms in that vein.
There's also other classes of drugs that do the same thing, called calcium-channel blockers, that might also be appropriate for you.
