Methadone has helped me far more than Oxycontin ever helped ... . Methadone seems to be much better for nerve pain than ANYTHING ... least a month. The only time I would not recommend Methadone is if your pain is curable and you will not need to ... It is very unforgiving and hard to discontinue. Methadone has saved my life. I would rather be alive with manageable ... that I was suicidal.
