i know what you mean. eight months straight i was on this rollercoaster with this boy. 6am every morning, i would wake him up, drive him 20 miles there and back for his dose. we'd come back home, he would turn on saved by the bell reruns, toast blueberry waffles, and i would get ready for work. by the time i would leave for work, he would be back in bed for 3 or 4 hours. he did get a job in a local grocery store that lasted about 4 of those months. when we told him he would have to pay for his own methadone, he wanted off it. they brought his dose down very fast and he got sick, so they took it back up a little bit. his girlfriend fell asleep here one night and we have always said no sleepovers. i yelled, he left. there's alot more involved, but that is the gist of it all. now he swears he is drug free and will get a job when he needs to. he is staying with a girl. ( the girlfriend is still in the picture. it's wierd. like a 3-way. he says not.) anyway, he sounds good when i speak to him on the phone everyday. i was calling him everyday, but the last 2 days, he has called me just to see how i am. i want him to have goals. that's all. thanks for your reply.
