question for CutThroat about C-Trimeton (Allergies board)

15th March 2005
Andrea,

I went down the vestibular route for a while and had extensive testing done by a Balance Clinic. No inner ear disorders for me. Never had vertigo, or dizziness - no spinning. Mine is allergies that affects the inner ear and that is why the Chorotrimeton helps. I am still being treated for allergies and still taking the Chorotrimeton. My lightheadedness seems to be worse with the mold season. In the afternoons I got ears ringing and headaches.

Various sea sickness medicines, such as Meclizine are also antihistimines, so allergies and inner ear disorders can be treated similarly and mimic each others symptoms.
