yes, the inner ear will cause this. if there is no ear infection, the tubes are most likely blocked. the ent will probably have you do a nasel duche to help open them, and may also put you on either a allergy pill or give you a steroid nasel spray for a few weeks.
i had a bad case of vertigo a few months back, and again now (in my 3rd week), much milder. i know my tubes are blocked and have been doing the nasel douch and taking meclizine, but needed more. doc gave me a steroid nasel spray 2 days ago, and i feel a little popping in my left ear now, so i know it is working.
