Hello All, I will try to not make this too long. I have had difficulty breathing since Mid August it did sorta come on all of a sudden so I went to Dr she thought sinus infection took the antibiotics. I guess it cleared that up but the breathing still not too good. Then she suspected allergies I'm now on Zyrtec,Rhinocort, Flovent and Maxair. but the inhalers have no real effect. My breathing trouble starts from just below my breastbone all the way up to my throat in which I have a relentless lumpy feeling although not physical to the touch, my glands are not swollen and I'm not really in any pain just major discomfort. I did have a week or so where my breathing felt fine but then bam like a ton of bricks sitting on my chest I feel like I'm wheezing but no wheezy sounds, I have a dry cough as well I have trouble breathing both in and out I am a 27 year old female and have been smoking for about 13 years. I am now on Wellbutrin to quit smoking I set my date for next monday I had a chest Xray that came back normal and I now have to have a Pulminary Function Test performed next week and am soo scared that it's emphysema. I'm getting married next July and my life is flashing in front of me I'm so scared I wont make it that far. Any advice or ideas you have to share would be greatly welcomed. you seem to be a wonderfull support system to one another and I really need someone to talk to my fiance thinks I'm just a hypocondriac because I have anxiety issues as well.
