OCD
I was up to 6 mgs a day of xanax for a while in my life! I think i know what you are going through. I think this is why they try to stay away from the benzos! But, but benzos are the best meds so far for me... I am now down too 1.5 mgs a day and could stand for more! but am doing ok.. I think the main problem with the benzos is they don't last long enough, so maybe you should take the same amount, but take them more during the day, Know what i mean! Spread them out! That's what i try to do...
Are you on any other meds? Like i told you before, i take Luvox as well! Now it does tend to take away some of my emotions, but i does help with the anxeity as well! So maybe talk to your Dr about an ssri's?
As far as addiction, they're not as hard to beat as you think! just NEVER go right off of them! Ween yourself down... I have beat these benzos (xanax) a hundred times with no problems!
