Kris-
With no disrespect to the last post, please disregard the the question about being molested in your past. This has nothing to do with your past. I have been battling ocd for years. I have intrusive thoughts about harm and some in sexual nature. I'm a stay-at-home mother of three, so the thoughts are always with me. I am no doctor, but to me, what you are describing is classic ocd. And, remember, it is called the "doubting disease". And, you are doubting everything about yourself. The very fact that you are questioning it means you are soooo far from someone who would do such a thing. My husband once told me that he has these types of thoughts. It's just that I have ocd and make them mean more than they should. You are battling a monster, ocd, and always remember that if it feels anything like ocd, it is ocd. I take effexor and luvox. Luvox helps more with the thoughts, and the effexor helps more with the anxiety. If your meds don't seem to be working after several months, maybe talk to the dr. about trying something else. Ocd is terrible at times, and it's easier said than done, but just remind yourself that it's only ocd, and nothing more. Take care.....
