hi im neew to this but i have many questions???? anybody knows about the pill low-ogestrel??? i have been taking it for 2 months now about to go on my third pack and i dont have anybad symptom just that i eat and eat even if im not hungry i have used other pills like ortho tri cyclen lo and that one really got me emotional and i cried over everything but it also made me gain weight...does anyone have any suggestion for me on how to manage my weight cause i just eat eat and i started weighing 115 and now i weight 125 or so.......any pills out there that dont make u gain weight????

please help because i really wanna be on bcp because i went through a miscarriage and it was very painful emotionally and physically... :( :(

There are no "weight free" birth control pills. All brands have the potential to cause weight gain.

I understand your problem though. I too find myself eating, even when I'm not hungry. A few things that have seemed to help are eating healthy foods when I do feel the urge to eat-- foods such as vegetables and fruit. Also, drink A LOT of water during these urges seems to help, too.

If you must snack, only allow yourself a small portion. Buy only small packages, and hide larger packages.


You could always try another pill, too, but like I said, that weight potential is always there. But, different pills do affect women differently.
