Stars I was on statins for many years. Started with Lipitor, ended with Lovastatin. Had been having pains in buttocks and legs for 18 months and 3 different doctors said it was my age (72) and arthritis, but it did not feel like arthritis to me. Went off the statins and feel so much better. Will let you know how my next blood test works out.
