   7 months cough! (Allergies board)

13th August 2003
There has been two things in my experience that have caused coughs.
One cough experience lasted ten months and it was the chlorine our water supply company had started putting into our water. As soon as the kids started replacing all their drinking with only bottled chlorine free water their coughs dissapeared in about two days. Those coughs were severe. Any juice etc. was mixed with bottled water.
The other time was when I went on a blood pressure med called Lotensin. The coughing was mild and went away after a while and didn't last 7 months.
Check it out. The kids doctors were seen many many times and they were saying the kids were developing asthma. HAH! Its nine years later now and the only time they get coughs now is when they are ill with virus etc and the cough lasts only a few days or if they get a new chlorine source like school, friend home, etc.
My kids are just hyper sensitive to chlorine. Ingesting it is very bad for them. Surely they are not the only ones in the world.
