Toporal is spelled out as a possible interaction with a lot of srri's. I was taking it and my blood pressure was high. I went off of it and was put on Lotensin. My blood pressure then started getting below 100/60 so I bought a wrist tester and went off of Lotensin and found my blood pressure to be fine, around 125/80 with a pulse of around 60. When I go to the doctor, my blood pressure is ALWAYS 160/110 with pulse of around 80. I can take my blood pressure before going into the doctors office and it will be normal. I have tested my wrist tester against the doctors tester and it shows the same 160/110 while in his office. This is white coat syndrome and caused by my anxiety disorder. By the way, as far as low pulse rate, if you have no physical health issues, a lower heart rate is a stronger heart. Athletes have lower heart rates. I have also had a blood pressure one morning of 68/38 with a pulse rate of 36. I felt fine and tested my wife and son to make sure the battery was good in my tester. It showed correct. We changed batteries anyway and in 4 test, it always showed approximately the same. I freaked and went to the hospital and it was up at the 160/110 when I got there. I don't check my blood pressure that often anymore, it tends to become a habit and causes unneccessary panic.
