Hey Banker.....hmmmm..the detox...it was a non medical detox, so i had to get a note from my doc saying i was fit to be admitted. Which also meant i had to come clean with him, which was hard, cause i knew in my mind that that was the end of the scripts...I was only required to spend 72 hours in the detox, but i lucked out and got my own room, and i ended up staying for a week. The food was great and the staff were awesome. Because it was a non medical facility, they could only had you out meds as prescribed, so i came prepared, with lorazepam, sleeping aids, advil for the aches, gravol, immodium, you name it, one of the staff told me that they had never seen one as prepared as i was.

The physical symptoms for me lasted for 12 days,which i think is due to my large useage. And the fact that i had already tried to quit a few times, which i guess was to my disadvantage, cause it gets worse everytime.

I did attend meetings in the detox, which i found helpful, and up untill today, i havent had any major cravings really.........i think that is cause i was so tired of it.

So i came on here to offer any advice, and that makes me feel better....I did however go back to work to soon, after 16 days, and couldnt handle so i took another 2 weeks med leave, and i have to go back on tuesday of next week, so well see how that goes.
