Wow are you a trooper!!! I have to first comend you on being there for an addict going thru w/d. It is not fun for the addict and I am sure it is not fun for the spouse. My husband works like 70 hours a week and was not there for me, so that aspect was very difficult, plus the kids.
OK so the somas are reaxing him? I think that I have read about people getting addicted to ultram so be wary of that. I was given Lodine 400mg for the pain which is a really heavy Advil or tylenol. Does he have any Ambien for the night sleeping? Is he taking hot showers to relieve the yuckies? I think I remember him mentionaing that you bought vitamins for him...good thinking. I am sure that these past couple of days have been really rough on him, but try to make him remember that a week or two of this crap is so much shorter than the rest of his life being addicted to those nasty pills. 2 weeks is nothing compared to how utterly wonderful he will feel both emotionally and physically for the rest of his LIFE!!!! Believe me ...I am there!
You should also take care of yourself, try not to take anything personal- get yourself some sleep when you can so that you can give him your 100% when he needs you. You are strong and can help him throught this!!
