Is a week-long low-grade fever normal with pneumonia? (General Health board)

12th April 2008
I've been diagnosed with the flu and pneumonia. The doctor prescribed Levaquin, which I've taken twice so far. I've had a fever between 99-101 all week long! Yesterday after taking my first Levaquin, I felt pretty ok, but then overnight my fever spiked up to 101.1! What's going on! The first fever I had showed up Monday afternoon. Now it's Saturday and I'm still having 99-100 or so fevers! I've never had pneumonia so I don't know what to expect, but I feel so crappy and this fever just won't go away! Do I need to go to the hospital??
