hi, there have been some studies done that say smoking contributes to uti's in men. common causes are from e coli bacteria, dirty hands in restrooms, unprotected anal sex which i hate to mention but its on the top of the list for uti in men.they to do a simple urine culture to test for a uti.if so treatment consist of levaquin, macrobid ect... keep us posted
