Went to ENT today for follow-up, taking him my sinus CT scan. He is pretty sure at this point that I have the cricopharyngeal spasms. He said they come on after being sick or from straining your voice, yelling, etc. With the right combo of medicine, they usually go away. I am now reducing my acid reflux medicine (since he really saw no signs in my throat of that) and one nose spray. He also gave me an antibiotic called Levaquin because it looked like I might still have an infection in my sinuses. I have felt great after being on the combo of medicines and stuff for drainage, but now I need to start cutting back and seeing which ones are really helping and not.
