Don't you just love doctors. My doc sent me to a nutrionist after with my help, diagnois me. I had the same itching around my midsection. It would drive me crazy. I also had a rash the the derm doc said was exzema. It never reacted like it. It never itch or anything. It is real weird. My a1c when taken last was 12.5. Very high, my blood glucose was 561. I'm on three different kinds of isulin. Lantus at night, Novolin early morning and Novolog before meals. I take the Novolin at the same time I take my Prednisone. I also have PMR. I know what you mean about being unsure about anything. My doc is not keeping tabs on me. I have to be aggressive with him to do the test. It is up to me to make sure he takes another blood test in Sept. for my A1C. I guess it is up to me to keep track of everything.
What is wrong with these docs? If you have to get aggressive. I guess they may be very busy and we are not their only patients. Where are our GP's we used to have. Right now I sure miss them.lol
