you could have a kidney infection insted of it being from the sugar. drink plenty of water juice raises level even more. water will flush excess suger from your body too and flush your kidneys also.
what kind of pen are you on? I was on the lantus and novolog pen for awhile but it didn't help now am on 25u on novolog and 30u on lantus everyday and when I eat I am suppose to take another shot of the novolog 30 min. before each meal. I don't do that though. I just eat 1 a day and take the novolog before I eat.
