For reference in this post, ... average rate. I am on 300mg Wellbutrin XL and 200mg Lamictal both of which I load in the morning. I also take ... Cycling & ADHD.
I can't tell you whether the Lamictal makes me tired or whether the Wellbutrin accentuates ... effect if it exists. I was on Depakote before the Lamictal , which left me physically exhausted, so I don't notice ... any tiredness from the Lamictal . This also may be due to the fact that I have been ... several years and as such have not experienced the Lamictal without it. I was on the Lamictal for three or four ... out all the time, perhaps as you said, due to the Lamictal . Apparently, Lamictal and Wellbutrin work well together ... helps get rid of some of the downer effect of the Lamictal , as it is a stimulant. Like you, I hate taking pills ... of my Lithium and Depakote days.
Thus, I load my Lamictal as well, although in the morning. While it is still ... usually suggested to take twice a day, the half-life of Lamictal is long enough that it is still effective when taken ... also prevent me from feeling any slow-down from the Lamictal . Anyhow, when I take the combination of the three ... coctail as the one I am on. If you're going to take the Lamictal once per day, I would recommend taking it in the morning ... Wellbutrin as enhancing any downer effect from the Lamictal , but then again, everyone's body chemistry is different ... . They work well together for me, with the Lamictal stabilizing long-term and the Wellbutrin maintaining ... stimulant, which may be the factor for me that makes the Lamictal unnoticable. While Lamictal has shown slightly lesser effacity than lithium for ... medications in the afternoon/early evening, so I load my Lamictal in the morning. The half-life of Lamictal is such ... as I still felt glum on a daily basis with just the Lamictal and Adderol.
