Totally Fed Up With My Indecisiveness (ADD - Attention Deficit Disorder board)

21st March 2007
Hi Everyone

I'm a 46 year old male who was diagnosed 5 years ago with Bipolar Disorder and 3 years ago with ADD. Since learning of my disorders I am very conscience of all the symptoms and tend to overthink how to improve my symptoms. I take Lamictal for the Bipolar, but cannot tolerate ADD meds well. I tried Strattera (makes me too focused--can't multitask), tried Adderall XR (too jumpy & agitated). I don't like my career and want to pursue internet (affiliate) marketing, but my ADD & Bipolar are cause me to get too excited for the first few days and then giving up (Bipolar high/ADD frustration)

I just can't stick to new projects and can't make & stick to decisions.

Please help:confused:

I am bipolar and ADD as well. I'm also on lamictal (and seroquel) and am about to start a med for ADD. I understand your frustration with the indecisiveness. It is hard to live with and can be very embarassing at times. If I'm in a group and we are trying to make a decision, I always wait for others to decide. If I have to make a decision on my own, well then that's when it gets "interesting" :dizzy:

I don't know. At times it is just a quirk, but at times it is soooo frustrating. I wish I had advice for you. But I guess just know that you aren't alone.
