I just started getting steroid injections today and I'm scheduled to go back in a month to get them injected again :eek: . It wasn't fun getting a needle stuck in me 20 times (seriously). My derm used kenalog 40mg. Is that what you guys had?

I had my keloid injections 2 weeks ago (with Kenalog, the same as you) and I'm going back in another 2 weeks for more. Yeah it does suck getting injected so many times. I've got this massive scab still on one. Did you have anasthetic? I had injections years ago with no anasthetic and it killed! (and he had to inject like at least 15 times). This time I had anasthetic so it was heaven compared to the time before.

I got my second month of treatment (Kenalog 40MG), and I'm seeing a slight improvement, however,it's still too early. Some of the keloids have responded well, but others haven't. My doc. says that I need about 1 or 2 more treatments, but I think I need more than that. How's your treatment going Amber?
