Thank you guys so much... My Dr. called in a prescription for me on Friday for Kariva. Has anyone had any bad/good experiences with this pill? She suggested that I start the pills this Sunday, the 23rd. Should I give my body more time to rid itself of the Depo before I start the Kariva?

Thank you so much Daisy, I actually started Kariva on the 17th, I'm anxious to get the depo out of my body. Although its only been 5 days, I haven't had any negative side effects yet, hopefully thats a good sign. The only thing I can say is different is that my appetite has decreased. When I was on Depo, I ate right but continued to gain, its sooo depressing! I spoke to a lady in my doctor's office that gained 65 lbs in approx 6 months on Depo. I wish I had spoke to her before I took the shot. 65 lbs!!! Thats a significant increase! He heart went out to her as she explained how much the weight gain has chaned her marriage and her life in general. I went home and cried my eyes out!!! I don't want to be that person. I don't want to live in a state of depression because of the method of birth control I use. I hope I won't gain anymore weight while on Kariva. I appreciate all of your input and this board in general. You guys are awesome... Thanks again.
