Hi!
I see on this forum many people, who like me, have a parent with cancer. I am looking to put my Mom directly in touch with someone who is undergoing as close as possible what she is...someone she can chat with - perhaps they can offer each other a form of moral support or even suggestions that only people actually experiencing or whom have been through this cancer can offer.
Some background:
Our mom (age 67) has been recently (6 weeks) diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer. She has undergone some radiation and is currently on Iressa. Which is working. She has lost her appetite and has trouble eating. This is a big issue for both her and us (her children).
She has been a world traveler, raised 3 kids (who have been flying in from across the country each week to take care of her), loved to cook and very active in her community.
Any leads would be appreciated.
