Some of my main problems (besides the neurological ones) are inflammed joints. Pretty much every joint in my body is sore/stiff....even my toes and fingers. I had a really hard time walking and going up steps b/c of the stiffness/pain. I even fell a couple of times (I'm only 28 yrs old).
I've had every test run under the sun. Nothing comes back in the way of auto-immune. Now, I've been diagnosed w/ Lyme so at least I know what is wrong w/ me.
I'm also taking Indocin. It's a few steps up from Naproxen. It's not a narcotic and it's non habit forming. It has helped w/ my pain and stiffness. I feel like I'm working at 70% instead of 40%.
I also had some doctors say that sometimes autoimmune disorders take awhile to show up on blood tests. The patient will have symptoms but will not have a positive ANA test. So, that's what they tried to write mine off as.
I agree w/ Ticker, defnitely go to a LLMD and get this sorted out. It's worth to pay a little to make absolutely sure. Believe me, waiting to get treatment, just costs more in the long run.
