thank you all for the advice. I have considered going to my university health center, but am concerned about repercussions. Still, it is probably a good idea, and it can't hurt to go and ask for information.

Inderal is related to clonidine, they are in the same class of drugs - beta blockers. So thats the reason i'm asking about it, since I know where to find it and wouldn't need to see a doctor to get prescribed it, as I would for clonidine. That opens a whole host of problems.

That said, I have tonight been speaking to a friend who has a problem with heroin (whereas prescriptions have been my ailment), and he has found a nearby hospital offering buprenorphine detox. This is very interesting to me. I am going to contact this hospital in the next few days and maybe go in for an evaluation. I have an insurance card, since i'm on my parents insurance, and this brings up another very important question for me:

How will this bill come up on my insurance? If i go to this hospital and they decide to put me on buprenorphine maintnance - I would only want to do a week to two week MAX on the bupe - I really can't afford it if I have to pay in cash (since its 250 dollars or more for this service). However, I believe my insurance will cover it. That said, i dont know if it will say "XXX General Hospital - $250" on the insurance, or "DRUG DETOX". The former is perfectly fine, as an easy explanation could be given, but the latter is unacceptable. If this is the case I may have to bill it to my credit card and explain the charge to them some other way.

Thanks for your advice, and thanks in advance for the advice to come :)
