Kadee?
You mention getting medical help to ease the pain and suffering of the withdrawl sypmtoms but I'm not sure what you mean by that? What kind of medical help?
Is that a stupid question?
It is IMITREX that I inject for migraines.
Perhaps I should go into a couple more things with all of you because I REALLY, TRULY want you to all be able to help me as best you can and you can better do that with the most information I can give you.
My pain meds, Percs, were given too me originally for Fibromyalgia by a rhuematologist. I did see a pain management doc for a while who put me on Fentanyl patches which I did NOT like for so many reasons, plus I didn't think my pain was THAT bad, that I needed something as strong as fentanyl. My fibromyalgia flares up tremendously when I am under severe stress and causes me to have muscle spasms in my neck and back, when I get these I have to go to my Rhuemie for injections into my neck or my back wherever the spasm is, they are so painful. I try to work out regularly to keep limber and keep the fibro under control as best I can but it has a mind of its own. I also have some back problems with disks, so I have to be careful.
I also take a muscle relaxer at bedtime, these are all legit scripts given by my rhuemie on a schedule.
Years ago I was on Prozac for depression and had weaned myself off after years of being on it. When my husband died I asked my rhuemie about going back on it, he sees me monthly and saw what an absolute mess I was. He put me back on the Prozac and Wellbutrin also. I suffer extreme anxiety... klonopin and xanax and still have so much anxiety that my doc wants to raise my klonopin but I won't let him, I'm on 2mgs a day.
Then the migraines.... I take meds everyday to keep them under control and when I have a flare up it is an Imitrex injection.
I don't know that any of this is important but I figured I would put it out there just incase.
