thanks you guys, that has been very helpful. i will check out that site you mentioned later today. god im so nervous as to what will happen dr wise. i tried sheduling and appt with him asap and hes out of town and they have me seeing a practicioner. (geez) im sure she will be clueless and they like you to stick with the same doc so im sure it will be a wasted trip and she will just tell me to make another appt with the idiot doc. ive been sticking to my normal dose of xanax until i can get with a good doc or my same doc if hes willing to do it my way and not his. so this is kinda bothersome. ive been experiencing extreme muscle spasms in my legs in the middle of the night nightly. i think its called spasms, its like a charley horse but its like every tiny muscle possible is included and my leg is in extreme pain and gets frozen and i cant move it and it is all contorted. i have to jump out of bed and it takes a long time of moving my leg in different positions to get it to stop. its extremely painful and it happens throughout the night. does this happen in xanax withdrawal? if so, i just dont understand why the extreme of mine since im still taking my reg. dosages. and ive also been getting horrible headaches, all day long every day and nothing will relieve them, not aspirin, ibroprin, tylenol or even imitrex which i have just in case i get migranes. anyone know if those headaches could be another symptom of the withdrawal? i just dont understand all the sudden problems when i havent changed my dose and havent had these probs before. i did have the muscle thing before while on xanax but not as often. or are these simply problems that occur with longtime xanax use? i thought i had a sinus infection for the headaches and was put on a very strong antibiotic for it but that didnt help. im hoping it is just a sinus thing and those particular antibiotics didnt help and i just need to get a different kind. ive never been someone who has headaches. once in a blue moon and aspirin or something similar would knock it right out. im gonna go do some of my own research on these symptoms and also check out the yahoo thing. thanks you guys have been so great. i cant wait to start the process and cant wait for the day to arrive when i will no longer be dependent on this xanax! good luck to all of you who are going through the same thing!
