Dear all,

I think I have the Norovirus but am not sure. I work in architecture and I have had to visit 13 Nursing homes. Two weeks back, one was closed to me because of D&V (diarrhea and vomiting) outbreak. I called up on Tuesday to ask if I could go on Wed, and they said the home would be okay on Wed and that I could come in.

So I went in, did the job and thought nothing of it.

Thursday evening, around midnight, I started to feel achey. Initially I thought I had overdone it at the gym so persevered to sleep. Woke up at 4 in terrible aches and pains all over my body....and by 6 I had a bout of projectile vomiting. Not nice.

Went to bed, and tried to sleep it off but was far too achey. All day the pains were there, took paracetemol & ibuprofen, which seemed to dull the pain. Things were looking okay, I'd only been sick once! Then a lot of toilet activity began...but not watery - just loose.

The problem is now that I haven't had an appetite since Friday morning, the thought of food wants to make me vomit again. I have had a piece of dried toast 30 mins ago and it's still okay...but I can't handle anything else.

I'm just worried that I haven't eaten a thing really for 48 hours.....REALLY worried in fact.

Please can any body tell me what I should do?

PS. I have been drinking lots of water/milk/lucozade and electrolyte.
