I just had the lateral epicondilitis release surgery on my left arm and will have the same surgery on my right arm next month. The difference is already evident to me even though I am not allowed to lift anything of substance yet. The problem was one of years for me involving resting the tendon, then using a lot of ibuprofen, then we did cortisone shots for the last two years and finally they did not work and it was time to do the surgery. I am older than you are but I love golf and it was getting to the point where it hurt too much to really do well. I am delighted and my dr says i will be able to golf this summer again.:)
