i had excision done on about 12 icepick scars 6 days ago, the stiches are out now but there is considerable redness left. i cant really tell how well the procedure went, saw the doc today and he is still confident everything went ok. The areas had some infection wich i was given an antibiotic for, he also gave me hydrocortisone cream to apply to the area to reduce inflamation. Is there anything else that will help bring down the redness? I go to work in three days and right now it looks like a bunch of pimples where the excisions were done. I havent even had breakouts in quite some time and this is a litle embarassing.
