When I used to get zits that hurt and you couldn't pop them, I would use hydrocortisone cream. You can buy any brand in the drug store. It is an anti inflamatory cream that will reduce the zit over night.

It is an anti inflamatory cream that will reduce the zit over night. 31st July 2006 That's what I used to do as well (the hydro. cream). I used to try to pop little pimples... which weren't even a white head, just a flesh-colored bump... that I'd get all over my jaw-line and chin (I didn't find out until later that it was caused by a product that I was using). THEN, I tried sticking some hydrocortisone cream on it because it started to look all dry and almost like eczema. It cleared it up, and the next time that I got a flare-up like that (before it got to the eczema point), I put the cream on and it cleared it up right away! Since then, I've been using it and I haven't really had a problem. :) I'm sure that most brands are pretty comperable, but I use Cortaid; I think it can be found at any pharmacy.
Hope this helps and you get those bumps under control soon! Good luck! :D |
