   Heart Problems (General Health board)

2nd May 2006
I had hyperthrophic cardiomyapathy (which included symptoms of arrythmias and tachycardia) and took hydrocodone/APAP for my spinal stenosis. My cardiologists were not concerned about me using vicodin for pain, but advised me NOT to take ibupropin (which I think accompanies your prescription, i.e., the code "ibu"). You really need to ask your cardiologists or internist to advise you properly. They were pretty certain that any pain killer have tylenol or acetominophen. By the way, I refer to my heart disease in past tense, since I've recently had a heart-lung transplant! So now I have a new, clean, healthy heart! Why are you taking hydrocodone?
