Doctors unable to diagnose me, any help (Open to All Health Related Topics board)

19th March 2005
You may have a very bad case of Fibromyalgia. This can only be diagnosed by your doctor pressing on certain pressure points. If you have pain in a given amount of the points, you have Fibromyalgia.

Much research is being done on FM and most believe it is a stealth virus that hides in your body. It is finally recognized as a disabling disease and some have gotten SSDI.

Neurontin really helps me. I take six 300 mg. capsules daily. It was originally developed for Epilepsy. FM does affect the brain and you get very uncoordinated.

The pain reliver Hydrocodone has helped me the most. Also known as Vicodin.

Your Reumatologist should be able to test you for this.
