Maybe more exercise and fresh air during the day would help you sleep better. Warm milk has helped me too and a nice warm bath or shower. I also watch what I call mindless TV to relax...programs that don't cause stress, like sitcoms. I usually fall asleep watching TV, but a boring book might do the trick :)
Like lindsalou, I was very happy and slept well when I was pregnant, up until my 7th month and my sciatica started keeping me up all night. My OB/GYN gave me Halcion (triazolam) to sleep and he said it was worse for the baby if I didn't get enough rest than to take the sleeping pill. He was an old school doctor, so I don't know what the current thinking is on sleeping pills with pregnancy.
