Oh my, I was wondering if you were doing any better mms1. I'm so sorry to hear that you are not.
I remember you from previous posts since we both suffer from intolerable insomnia.
I have to take Klonopin to go to sleep and then wake up after 2 hrs. I tried Xanax, Ambien, Trazodone, Halcion, Lunesta. All just gave me 2 hrs. I think taking the Lexapro is what you need to do. I am currently taking Zoloft 25 mg(can't seem to get up to 50 yet) and have been for 7 weeks. Still waiting for the insomnia to go away. At my last visit the dr. almost switched me to Lexapro but told me to give the Zoloft and Klonopin 10 more days. I'm scared to death of being addicted to Klonopin as I hear it is a monster to withdraw from (been on it now for 35 days).
I feel for you and hope that someone else has some good advice for you. I am hoping and praying for the night when I sleep through.
My advice would be to give the Lexapro a try, can't be worse than what you are suffering with now.
