Hi,
I'm 21, and I have chronic sinus pressure and infections, I use flonase almost everyday, and take tylenol with codine for the pain, but I can only take that at night since I fall asleep shortly after taking it, does anyone know of any other ways to deal with the pain that won't send me to sleep? (advil and tylenol dont work).

Have you seen an ENT? Perhaps surgery is an option.

Have you tried taking sudafed? It helps my sinus pressure better than anything. And using a nasal saline spray can help unclog sinuses too. You might check with your pharmacist, but I believe that one of the side effects of Flonase is sinus infection. Most people have no trouble with it, but a few are sensitive. Hope you find some relief soon.

the ENT only took a xray, but the ENT i saw does not specialize in sinuses so I am seeing one in June who does, I was on antibiotics for a month to clear the infection, so now i'm just on flonase and mersyndol (tylonol with codine)
