I have had the same problem for it seems most of my life, but sometimes much worse than others. I have many problems with my back and have already had 2 back surgeries. I was a nurse for 25 yrs. in a hospital before I had to go on disability for pain. Anyway, a urologist finally diagnosed me with neurogenic bladder and started me on flomax(usually given to men with prostate problems to help relax bladder neck and help to go. I would have a large amount of urine in bladder, but would only be able to urinate and remove only a little off the top, so right away since still urine in bladder, I would feel sensation right away, but just go little bits. The flomax was a godsend at first and still helps a great deal. I am able to go in larger amounts and go a lot longer without urinating. Seriously!! There are also some people with interstitial cystitis-I think it's like a neg. U/A, but maybe an infection in the tissues?-not quite sure, but look it up. Good luck to you. I really feel for you if you're in the service and unable to go to the BR as you need to. I really pray this improves for you. I have had difficulty urinating and felt like I had bladder infection different times-get neg. U/A, but had yeast infection and it seemed to help the frequence, etc. when used the miconazole or other brand names that you can get over counter. Could that be it? Good luck! Honest, see if you can get a Doc to order the flomax and see if it helps!!
