Thanks for the response, my prostate has always been enlarged and I have been treated over the past 5 years for BPH with Flomax and Proscar. It is larger then normal but not to the point of ever being a big BPH problem.
Seeds were discussed and it was agreed that my low grade early stage PC could be effectively treated with IMTR with less side affects and less risk..I agreed. The radiation facilty here is state of the art and I am confident in their ability. I am not familiar proton beam radiation but will educate myself on that subject.
Right now I am of the opinion that the hormonal pretreatment prior to IMTR for my low risk PC is not needed..but I continue to research it
