DAY 5.... Detox from Lortab (Addiction & Recovery board)

16th July 2008
Way to go Kelly. I'm so happy you are sticking with your plan. Its so hard I know but hey your doing it. Be PROUD OF YOURSELF. You are so worth it. As for the flexeril. I know its a muscle relaxer and yes they can be habit forming. I know a couple of people that have problems with soma's. Not sure if they are narcotic or not though. Call the pharmacy and ask. I have heard of people using them in detox to help sleep. I'd be careful if I were you though. You certainly have come way to far to find you like something else that can get you into trouble. Just my 2 cents worth. But again Kelly be so proud of yourself.

hey kelly sorry you not feeling so well, ive been there done that heh. as for the flexeril question i have taken them in the past and never felt addicted or had wd from them, as far as i know they are a mild muscle relaxer that could help with your back but i didnt take them during my detox so i cant say for sure, and i had taken them before i was abusing percs and such. the diarehea hit me late as well, in my case it was because i wasnt eating, then on my 3rd or 4th day i had a little appetite and then it hit. im on day 12 and still have it, not as bad tho. immodium ad will help. i still am having problems sleepin and i think im going to get me some excedrin pm if you slept like that, ive been drinking nyquil, as directed :), and it doesnt do much for me. i dont know if anyone else detoxing felt like this, but i have been living with goose bumps from the chills, even still today but seem to be lessening, and my back is also still a bit sore, nothing like days 3-6 though, those were the worst.

Well hope that helps a bit and to know you are on day 5 now makes me think you got this thing beat, only gets better from here kelly keep up the inspiration you are giving everyone and keep us posted hope your having a better day :)
