I have 2 bulging discs as well as degenerative disc disease in back and have been taking percs for over a year. 5 mg then 7.5 mg. sometimes 2-3 a day.
Friday night I was having shooting pains as well as constant spasms that my perc as well as flexeril was NOT helping so I went to ER. i live in NC and the Dr walks into my cube holding a piece of paper showing EVERY RX I ahve had filled, the dates, quantity and the prescringin Dr. I had brought all my meds with me so I showed him I had plenty of meds I just wanted RELIEF. he told me I was "flagged" in the system. took a cursory glance and touch of my back and ordered a shot of toradol and referred me to a pain specialist.:mad: What is this "flag" deal he was talking about. he told me I had become tolerant of my dosage that i was currently taking. Is that the same as addiction ? I thought someone here may know about this.
