Earlier this week I had a kind of headache different than any other I'd ever had. Keep in mind that I get migraines, tension and sinus headaches and know pretty well what they feel like.
Imagine, if you will, someone taking a railroad spike, wrapping it in velvet, and then pounding it in about an inch above my right eyebrow. It wasn't a sharp pain - more like an intense dull ache. It didn't radiate - just stuck there. It lasted for 3 days and didn't respond to any pain med. Tried the usual - Excedrin, Advil sinus, and even resorted to Fioricet, when the other two didn't work. That didn't work either.
Any ideas?
