Hi all  - I am new to this site so if this is a redundant post, I apologize.
I have been on AD since '93 - moving through the progression of "improved" meds as they come out. I've been on Zoloft, Celexa, Lexapro & Wellbutrin, with Wellbutrin being the only one that I have not seen positive results with. I am now on the generic Celexa again & doing ok. I have also had migraines & tension headaches since about age 8 (they run in my family as does depression). My migraines are under control with Topamax, but am still getting tension headaches. My new internist is at a loss (I've recently moved cities) & she doesn't like the amount of Fioricet I take (nor do I) so I'm now going to a neurologist - again (I had been followed by one in my previous city).
I've done tons of reading & research & I believe my increased muscle tension & headaches are at least in part related to my depression, so I'm curious about Cymbalta's efficacy. My question is this... has anyone had any experience with Cymbalta & the reduction of headaches & tension as their website indicates? I've seen some of the negatives of Cymbalta on this board - but I'm curious to see if anyone has had any long-term success with Cymbalta (more than 6 mos - 1 yr).
Thanks in advance!
