Dwayne-
Glad to hear you are doing better.
I agree about the butalbital-I have that for my migraines and it is a wonder drug for me too. I get migraines (some are classic/some are common) pretty bad too.
I can only take tylenol as well (esp. right now as I am pregnant) b/c my stomach would HURT when I took Advil, celebrex, bextra and all the other nsaids the docs would give me-saying that they'd help my fibro pain (which they didnt). I was worried right before I found out I was preg. that these were hurting me more than helping and decided not to take nsaids anymore. I was chomping tums etc trying to make my stomach not hurt as I took these pills that werent really helping. Docs seem very hard up to give anything but these nsaids out to me for pain. I told them about my pain and all they would do was switch me to another nsaid. Baloney! I wont take them anymore.
I get the fioricet (I think that is the brand name for the migraine med with the butabiltal) and flexeril but that is it.
Thanx for sharing your story and giving me the reinforcement to continue to say no to these pills once I could take them again. I am glad you are doing better now.
Wishing you a warm heating pad and full nights sleep :)
