Alesse is a pill with high levels of androgens (male hormones). These types of pills are more likely to cause hair loss in sensitive individuals. You might try something low in androgens like Ovcon-35 or Brevicon. I was on both of these before and didn't lose any hair. I was on Estrostep Fe (medium-androgenicity level) and I lost alot of hair on it. When I stopped taking it, the hair loss slowed way down.
